# Domains

## Register or transfer

Search for a name at `/domain-search` (or from the store), add it to the cart and check out. Registration happens shortly after the invoice is paid. Some registries need your email confirmed as the registrant: follow the link in the email (`/verify-registrant`).

## Manage a domain

**Domains** (`/domains`) lists your domains with their expiry dates. Open one to:

- Change the **nameservers**.
- Edit the **contact** details.
- Manage **DNS** records, when your provider hosts DNS.
- Turn **auto-renew** on or off, or **renew** now.
- Get the **EPP / transfer code** to move the domain elsewhere.
- Order domain **addons** your provider offers (for example ID protection).

Several domains can be changed at once with the bulk actions.
